When to say what and why

Has it ever happened to you to say the wrongest thing at the wrongest time?

I find it annoying that there’s a right time and a wrong time for saying things. In the case of, say, an unhelpful comment to a stressed person, I understand.

But if it’s urgent? If it truly needed to be said right then and there? Also, when you say the wrong thing at the wrong time, usually it’s the wrong thing wrong time for one person (unless you walk  into a room of mourners and say “The body truly looks horrid! Did they have any sense of style when alive?”). And that person could try to understand and avoid lashing out. Not everybody has the skill of knowing what to say when. I agree it’s annoying, but you don’t shout at a handicapped person for being handicapped (no, if you say the wrong thing at the wrong time you are not handicapped).

Anyway, bunny in a top hat
